Buy a Stocked Impoundment Permit
A Stocked Impoundment Permit allows you to fish using a fishing line at impoundments on the Stocked Impoundment Permit Scheme (SIPS).
SIPS impoundments are stocked with native fish specifically for recreational fishing. The scheme provides a sustainable fishing option that reduces the fishing pressure on wild fish stocks.
Who needs a permit
All persons 18 years and over must hold a permit when line fishing in SIPS impoundments.
Children and teenagers under 18 years do not require a permit.
